It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations please contact us.
For Physical Goods via Distance Selling
In accordance with your statutory rights (Consumer Right Act 2015) , you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the date on which you received the goods, or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision before the cancellation deadline, by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by telling us clearly in an email (melcadentutoring@gmail.com) , or by submitting a contact form on our website (https://melcadentutoring.com/contact-me/) , or by sending a copy of the standard (optional) cancellation form at the bottom of this document.
We will reimburse to you all payments received from you. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of the returned goods having been received by us.
Your original shipping costs will also be refunded unless you expressly requested a delivery method that is more expensive than our basic cost. In this case we will only refund the basic delivery cost.
It will not be possible to offer partial refunds or return part of an item (for example a part of a pack of resources). In this case, the whole item must be returned and will be refunded if the conditions are met.
You shall send back the goods not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation, to Mel Caden Tutoring, 41 Arthur Road, Deal, CT14 9EY. The returned goods must be in their original packaging, and in their original condition. Please include your name or order number with your returned goods.
Goods which were made to your personal specification or personalized may not be returned or refunded, unless they are faulty.
In accordance with your statutory rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015), you may choose not to accept any goods that are faulty (ie not of satisfactory quality taking into consideration the price paid and description, or not fit for purpose). You are deemed to have accepted the goods if you have used or altered the goods in such a way that prevents you from giving the goods back in their original state. In this case, unaccepted faulty goods may be returned within a period of 6 months. A refund, replacement or repair may not be issued if any faulty item is damaged by any attempts made by you or a third party to repair it.
Unless we can prove the item was not faulty when you bought it, a replacement or repair will be provided. A refund may be provided if the faulty goods are returned in accordance with the conditions stated above, within 30 days.
Unless agreed otherwise, you will bear the costs of returning the goods. We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.
For Digital Downloads
By purchasing downloadable/digital content, you are expressly requesting that it is supplied within the cancellation period, and agree that by continuing the purchase, you acknowledge the loss of your cancellation rights. You will have been reminded of this and asked to agree before you paid for your digital download.
